Chasing Alice - an acoustic duet.
Chasing Alice is Michael and Cate Rettig, from September Dogs, taking a moment to play some acoustic music. It's nice to get back to our roots....a simple six string, or 12, and some unplugged music. You know we all learned on the basic instruments, and they still offer a special feel, evoke a certain atmosphere.
The set list is tasty - a little jazz, a little funky, chill at times, and some unplugged rock - while still being just the left of mainstream, just as you'd expect from us.
Sometimes the bass player Craig Griffin will sit in with his acoustic bass, or sometimes the talented John Chretien, drummer for 9K9 will bring out his cajon or djembe and it'll be a full on acoustic thing going.
Chasing Alice has a limited schedule, as September Dogs takes the front seat but hope you'll catch an acoustic show with CA.
